His San Telmo, My San Telmo

My first impression of the bohemian quarter of Buenos Aires could not be more quintessential. I saw this wonderful old man and his old dog by a butcher shop on Defensa St. I kept seeing them in the same spot so I thought he must have been there all his life. I begun to think of San Telmo in the last 80 years with him in my imagination whenever I walked down the cobblestone street. Last Sunday when I returned there with my camera this time, I spotted them by the old café next to the butcher. He was sitting with his dog chatting with his friend. And my impression of San Telmo was photographed.
