Struggle Of Light

This photograph was taken at "Mesa Arch" within "Island In The Sky" district of Canyonlands National Park, Utah, United States. It was taken just after sunrise when sun shown through the overcast sky and flooded the scene with light momentarily. However, the strong morning rays of sun were blocked by jutting cliffs and buttes, deep canyons, distant mountain (Lasal Mountain) and clouds from uniformly lighting the scene, as if light in this case was struggling. Hence the name "Struggle Of light".
