The Storm

The sheer power that storms possess is truly remarkable. After the billions of years this planet has existed, we have only recently harnessed the energy provided by these phenomena, relying on electricity for our way of life today. Without the ability to create, control, and transmit electricity, human civilization (as we know it) would cease to exist. This photo represents the raw power of a lightening storm and the ingenuity of humans by taming this energy with a simple, but ultimately essential, power line.
