At Fort Point in SF ~ a National Historic Sight and vantage point overlooking the Golden Gate. Fort Point was built to protect San Francisco from Confederate and foreign attack during the Civil War. The beauty displays the art of the master brick masons from the Civil War period. The tunnels go everywhere ~ there were officer's quarters, kitchens, laundries, barracks ~ during the 1920s the property was used by the Presidio for housing unmarried officers ~ rich in history with Civil War cannons, artifacts, and even a few ghosts. I love the shadow here.

Location: San Francisco, California, USA
