Ghost crab

I spent a few sunrises lying on my stomach, watching and trying to take pictures of ghost crabs on several different Hawaii beaches. These speedy crabs are almost impossible to spot. These creatures may be among the fastest land creatures, moving at 100 bodylengths per second!
