Photo taken at a sinkhole, in the region of Bodoquena, in Brazil, called ╦ťBuraco das Araras", that translated to english would be "Macaws' Hole". This sinkhole used to be an illegal trash deposit. The area was bought by a man called Modesto, who recovered the area to its natural condition, attracting wildlife, that was gone decades before. Among them are numerous Red-and-green Macaws (Ara chloropterus) that nest in the walls of the sinkhole. In early morning fly out of the sinkhole to eat at nearby trees.

Location: Buraco das Araras, Bodoquena, Jardim, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil
