Terra Cotta

Category: Places

Photo and caption by Roberta Compton

This parched landscape looked like a scene straight out of a National Geographic magazine, when in reality it was just a low, muddy area in a construction site around the corner from my house. Nevertheless, I was transported (if only for the moment) to another world, and I couldn't help but to capture the scene.

Location: Madison, AL, U.S.A.
