This shot was taken during a sandstorm on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia. The young fur seal's eyes were crusted with sand. My camera was covered in plastic and I had to wait for the very brief moments that the wind died down in order to be able o hold my camera steady enough to shoot. Not the best environment for camera, subject or photographer.
