This image was captured in the wild from my vehicle with a Nikon D3s and a Nikon 400 mm fixed focal lens. I studied the action of the Giant Kingfisher and positioned my vehicle in a suitable position and waited every day for about 15 days to get this image. The image is a Giant Kingfisher in the process of softening the fish before swallowing it.
