Mexican Fishing Bat

While searching for an endemic gecko on Isla Partida Norte off the coast of Baja Norte, this Mexican specialty was scared from his roost. Mexican fishing bats have enormous claws and long sharp teeth in order to grasp their slimy writhing prey: small unsuspecting fish.
