Healing Lioness

This was a rare opportunity to capture a Lioness that had been treated for wounds. The guide suspected she had been involved with a Cape buffalo. Nice photo to share because it shows these animals are being cared for by the park rangers. Our guide, who had done this before, stated that they would tranquilize the Lioness and apply this green medication.
