As you approached they seemed as interested in you, as we are of them. Maybe it is a defensive measure but this baby stared right in to my lens like a movie star. The gaze didn't last long so I was lucky to get the shot. For those brief moments it was surreal having a animal looking right back at you as if to want to start up a conversation. "Talk to me, big guy with your camera!"
