I was on safari in South Africa; it was August 2010. We had been tracking this leopard for a bit when she meandered into some underbrush. Didn't think we'd see her again and then she appeared just beside the jeep, a hairsbreadth from me. I lifted the camera as she lumbered along and then she stopped and looked at me and then she was gone. A beautiful moment.
