Ampezzo Dolomites' Lake Sorapis amazes for its natural turquoise color. In early summer, at 4.30am, the first sun beams burn the tops of the 10,000 ft high Sorapis Range. Recognized in 2009 as UNESCO World Heritage Site, these stunning mountains include unique geological and geomorphological features with landscapes of outstanding natural value and aesthetic importance.
