Trails of the two hemispheres

A 45 min exposure shows the movement of the starry night with both the northern hemisphere stars rotating around the Polar Star and the sothern stars very low on the horizon. This image was taken at about 8,000 mt high in the Dolomites, while bivouacking during a very cold winter night. The peaks in the foreground are the Cadini di Misurina Range.
