This image was photographed in Rabat, Morocco, at the end of April 2011, during the traditional equestrian performance Fantasia, as part of a project I'm working on with my good friend Jonas Erraia. It was an amazing experience sitting up close as the rows of Arabian horses came full speed toward me, struggling to stop closer than a meter from where I was sitting. I guess a person's skin would easily go pale with fear, but my Norwegian skin worked perfect as a camouflage.
