Lake Superior Storm 08.18.12

This past summer as I was sailing back to Duluth from Lake Superior, a storm came creeping on our bow. It lasted an hour and a half and was gone before we knew it. In the meanwhile a large barge ship was stopped waiting for it to pass, a kid lost his life to lightening near the Duluth Southern entrance, and a couple tornados had formed on land in Wisconsin. This is a photograph from our sailboat as the storm came and went right before our eyes.
Location: Lake Superior, Minnesota
