Great Blue Heron (one bird or two?)

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Linda Schwerzler

There's nothing so soothing as watching a Great Blue Heron patiently watching and catching its prey. And when they take flight, its like water flowing through the air. Look closely, you'll see that the the second bird is actually the reflection of the bird in flight.

Location: PIckering Passage, part of Puget Sound near Harstine Island, WA
