The bird is Passer Domesticus.This bird used to be abundent in Assam.But it is gradually declining.But it is still seen in good quantity at Dibrugarh Assam where I live.It lives near human habitat.One reason given of its declining is Mobile towers which it is said interferes with hatching of its eggs.
