Blue Moon Reflecting

August 31, 2012 was a beautiful day for a blue moon in the pawnee grasslands. On the open range a mama cow tested my friendliness with a head wag before I was able to walk over to the pump to get the shot. It was a nice reflection of my summer and into fall. A beautiful night with a photographer friend. I held my breath and took the shot with 1/8 to get the motion (hoping my steady zen-photo breath would replace the forgotten tripod).
