Midnight Moon

One night this summer, I went to check out the night sky over Stoney Lake in Ontario, Canada. It was almost a full moon, the air was still, and the sky was half blanketed by thin layers of clouds. It was a gorgeous night. I opened up my shutter for about 3-5 seconds to let in as much light as my eye was letting in just to capture what the moment looked like through my own eyes. The shot came out a little brighter than what my eye could see, but it actually enhanced the beauty of the moment.
