After a number of fruitless visits, I finally had the good fortune to meet this mother Orang Utan and her child, both of whom graced me with a most photogenic pose and gaze during feeding time at Semmongok Wildlife Park in Borneo. Her son, content with being protected under his mother`s wing, reminds one of young children hiding behind their parents when visitors come a-calling! This classy lady, exudes an almost human femininity while looking extremely comfortable with motherhood which seems to suit her well!
