Wolf packs must live with mutual respect due to the very nature of their survival. This photo was taken at the wolf sanctuary of Pennsylvania, Speedwell Forge, in which I am a volunteer. The two grey wolves in the photo are part of the largest pack at the sanctuary consisting of twelve. On the left, Lucas gazes into the eyes of Trinity, the alpha female.
