Winter in Central Park

This photo was taken a few days after a rare blizzard in December 2010. This was my first trip to New York City and I encountered streets full of dirty snow, sludge, snowplows and disgruntled New Yorkers. But one morning wandering through Central Park we were welcomed with the total opposite, people laughing, throwing snowballs, sledding and just enjoying a perfect sunny day in Central Park.
