I was driving up to the lake early in the morning and could see an unusual cloud formation in the distance but it was hard to see since it was so dark. As I was getting closer, it was more visible and I was hoping it would be in the right spot over the lake. When the sun started to rise, the reflected light from the clouds was amazing. Everywhere in the sky and surrounding area lit up bright pink and the cloud formation was wispy like cotton candy.
