I've spent a lot of time in India over the last few years. What always strikes me is obviously the immense poverty, but also the incredible way people carry themselves. I feel people, heartbreakingly, often accept their situation and position in society in such a graceful way. It makes you feel so guilty for being a Westerner, but also for complaining about little things that often are completely irrelevant to your life as a whole.
