This is Karte Parwan area of Kabul. Between roundabouts named simply as second and third large slums grew up few years. It shelters Afghan nomads, known as Kuchis, who lost either all or part of their herds and moved to Afghan capital to seek better life. I met her early in the morning, maybe at 6am, as she took several sheep to find them some food in Kabul. There isn't much greenery in the city and this task is difficult. There are approximately 2 million Kuchis in Afghanistan, majority of them remained nomadic. Those settled in urban center usually dwell in slums and face poverty.
