This photograph was taken thirteen hours after I decided to fly to Atanta for the weekend. I'm assuming this was somewhere over Iowa. I hadn't slept in twenty hours, and annoyed by the rising of the sun I couldn't sleep. Soon became aware of the beauty of the landscape, I couldn't sleep the duration of the flight, snapping as many photographs as I could. The jet fuel struck me as curious; whenever shooting landscapes, it's impossible to avoid the manipulation human's have impacted on our environment.
Location: Somewhere between Minneapolis and Atlanta, United States
