After a weekend hiking in the Sierras, we were relaxing in a natural hot spring in the Owens Valley, when a lone cloud drifted lazily over the White Mountains. The White Mountains are forested with Bristlecone Pines - the oldest trees in the world, some having lived for over 4500 years.
