Late Snow

The transition between winter and spring is occasionally difficult here. Instead of rain in May, we sometimes get blizzards instead. This year, our last blizzard occurred on the last weekend in May. The caragana hedge was in full bloom, and even though it had about 4-5 inches of heavy, wet snow to contend with, it carried on as though this spring blizzard was not really that much of a bother.
