Basangiang in Dayak Ngaju language is a person who acts as a medium to heal the sickness by using the power of spirits. I met her in a small village in central Kalimantan while I conducted a research about trance. This old woman has been caring many people in her life, not only by being a medium but also with her sincere heart which is expressed in her smile.
