A Moment in Time

We had been following this mother cheetah and her two cubs for some time - on the other side of where we were, there was this tree with perfect lighting and I just happened to say aloud to our guide "Sam, I need one of them to jump into that tree" - she did eventually for about 20 seconds and this is the shot of my dreams. I simply love this photograph and I heard after we had returned home that she and the cubs were doing well, as one of the cubs had severe mange. Taken on a Canon 5D Mark II and 500ml lens and quite some distance away.
