Tree Frog Stare

On a tropical ecology field study in Costa Rica through my university, I took this photo on a night walk around a hotel we stayed at in Punta Arenas. Unlike all the other wildlife I saw and photographed on my trip, this Red-Eyed Tree Frog did not try to hop away. Instead, he turned to me and stared right into the camera for his picture! Shortly after I took this photo, he jumped right onto my camera and started climbing up my arm! This was one of my most memorable experiences from my trip to Costa Rica, and I got a photo to remember it forever.
