Abraham is a young man of 14 who lives in the Afar region of Ethiopia; one of the hottest inhabited places on Earth. He lives a harsh existence faced by violent tribal rivalry, constant drought, and extreme weather conditions. He is an amazing young man who loves to learn; he walks a 14km round trip to and from the local school each day and aspires to continue his education. He is a strong character, who works hard and has his own opinions, creating his own path in life with his wonderful sense of fun, adventure and mischief.
