During our recent family holiday to the USA, we took a night tour of the city and found ourselves caught in the middle of the wild storms that blacked out much of DC and Virginia. Although my intention was to get a shot of the Washington Monument and reflection pond, I soon realized that I had the opportunity to capture something more unique.
