Vigilant mosquito-Culex pervigilens. There are around 14 mosquito species in New Zealand seems too many. Especially if I think of those warm summer nights when the mosquito invasion is on it's peak. But if I think of the fact there are around 83 species in Japan, than I sleep a little bit better.
