This is an all too familiar sight all over Australia and no afternoon picnic by the sea would be complete without a few of these persistent little fellows paying a visit. After failing in my attempts to ward them off (losing a few chips in the process) this bird seemed to gloat at me, as if savoring his little victory while the rest of his cohorts danced around in the background with their prizes.
