In Upal, in Xinjang Uyghur Autonomous Region (China), a shepherd spends his Monday morning at the animals market to sell his sheeps. Upal is located on the stunning Karakorum highway, going from Kashgar (South of Xinjang) to Pakistan. Most of the Uyghurs and Kirghizes living in the region are shepherds or farmers.
