A Brown Pelican, weary from slow moving Hurricane Isaac’s multiple day onslaught, takes flight from the Gulf of Mexico shoreline of Cat Island, Mississippi. Numerous other Pelicans at Goose Point didn’t fare so well and dotted the beach along this portion of the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
