On a recent family vacation to Portugal, we were visiting Monsanto, Portugal. I caught my daughter walking on the path at the top of the mountain that connects the castle and an old Romanesque chapel. Although quite a popular tourist destination the difficulty of reaching the top does limit the amount of visitors.
