I got up very early one summer morning to take this shot. I thought i wasn't going to be lucky as I saw two deer in the far corner of a field and my lens wasn't long enough, I quietly said to my dog, come on let's go home and get some breakfast. Just as I was about to pick up my tripod this doe popped her head about 30 ft from me! She was such a beautiful animal. I fired off a few shots as she walked from left to right, looking at me each time I pressed the shutter button. It was a beautiful experience.
