I was lucky to meet Mercio in a work trip to San Andrés Island in the Colombian Caribbean. He collects all sorts of things and fixes them giving new life to the objects that others discard. In a certain way, like a child, he achieved to build in his home a little island or refugee for his own world of dreams. And despite his humble situation he not only was plenty of peace of soul but he inspired the others with his own happiness.
