The majestic and elusive 'bharal' or Himalayan blue sheep are captured here peacefully grazing on the sheer slopes of the Zanskar mountain range of the Indian Himalayas, perturbed by neither the gradient, nor our presence. Thought to resemble the last common ancestor of the sheep and goat, they continue their existence blissfully unaware of the evolutionary secrets that their genes may hold.
