As the first signs of victory are apparent, smiles break out. Just moments before the child was completely unresponsive and barely breathing. After the medication takes hold and prayers are answered the child responds by grabbing the finger of the medical provider, Chris Davis, CEO of Freedom Outreach International who worked to save his life. This battle ended in victory, sadly however many end in death. Daily in Lietnhom, as well as all over South Sudan children die by the thousands due to treatable causes. The war rages on, genocide brought by the combination of mosquitoes and poverty.
