River of Sticks

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Britt Arnett

I took this photograph while on the Madison River in Ennis, Montana. It was a little hazy in the evening and as I was floating by this bed of sticks, the bird that laded caught my eye. The scene gave off this almost eerie vibe with the sticks, warm glow and black bird. However, it is this vacant sense of feeling that makes it beautiful.

Location: Ennis, Montana
