From November to April is the only season to survive in Danakil desert.In winter,the temperature is often greater than 45°C.The locals hurry their camel in the morning to avoid the sunshine.Arriving in Salt Lake,the man dug the salt block just in the midday.After digging 200-300KG salts which are cost about 20 US$ for one camel,the salt was carried to the nearest market where took about another 4 days round trip.The harvest in 5 months will exchange for food and necessities to support the entire year.Those bitter coarse salts supply to the poor families who could not afford to buy refined salt
