Upon asking the Dean of Architecture of Mahasarakham University for an explanation of the tracing ceremony captured in this picture during the Summer 2012 Wai Kru Ceremony, he demonstrated with my hand how the faculty member, seen at left, is transferring his knowledge to the incoming “freshy” students.
