This shy, young girl of the Padaung Long Neck Women poses with a chick as tourist pass through the village. Neck ring adornment can begin as early as 5 yrs old. Many women struggle to be free of the practice, which is sometimes forced upon them. I wondered what the future holds for this young girl.
