Walk a Mile in My Shoes...or on My Toe Nails

As mounted elephants trod, almost gracefully, to and fro along this dusty road, one might expect to see a speed limit sign. The Asian elephant walks on its toenails instead of hooves and its slow rhythmic sway epitomizes Thai culture: slow, steady, and graceful. It was the perfect pace to savor this once in a lifetime experience.
