Perilous Rescue

On a hot summer day in June, hundreds of people flock to the waterfall at Great Falls Park for picnics and fun. Some people, however, like to kayak down the rocky cliffs of the falls. The current is strong and the drops are dangerous, and one kayaker became trapped amongst the rocks. Emergency responders quickly arrived by boat and helicopter in order to attempt rescue. After a few grueling hours, the man was finally rescued.
